Qurans Burned in Sweden: Far-Right Activist Rasmus Paludan Sentenced to Four Months in Prison

On Tuesday, November 5, the Swedish justice system sentenced far-right activist Rasmus Paludan to 4 months in prison for inciting hatred, after causing riots by burning copies of the Quran in Sweden in 2022.

The Swedish justice system has determined that Rasmus Paludan had ‘expressed contempt towards Muslims’. The activist also appeared in court for racist remarks against Arabs and Africans.

This conviction, which is good news in the fight against Islamophobia, comes shortly after the new anti-Islam demonstration organized by Jade Sandberg, a Swedish Christian exorcist demonologist.
