England: Young Muslims from Watford Organize a Street Cleaning Operation in the City

On January 1, 2025, young Muslims in Watford (near London in the United Kingdom) started the year with a significant civic action. The Muslim association, as it does every year, organized a street cleaning operation in the city. The local leader reminds: “Cleanliness is a fundamental pillar of our faith. This initiative allows us to put our values into practice while serving our country.”

In a context where the rise of the far-right and racism fuels divisions, these civic initiatives remind us of the importance of inclusion and solidarity.
