The Averroès High School announces a new legal victory at the beginning of 2025.
On January 18th and for the fourth consecutive year, the Averroès association, represented by its lawyer Maître Paul Jean Blonski, obtained a ruling against the Hauts-de-France region to pay, under penalty of €500 per day of delay, the annual external student fee owed to the high school.
This decision follows a long legal battle, initiated in 2019, against the treatment deemed unfair and discriminatory by the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France, whose president is Xavier Bertrand.
A legal victory to be welcomed in a context where Muslim educational institutions are targeted by a policy of administrative harassment.
